For our starter setup, choose the HARIO Ceramic Slim ($56 CAD) as an affordable starting grinder or the TIMEMORE C5 ESP PRO ($159 CAD) as an upgrade. Add the Black Mirror BASIC 3 scale and Amarelo whole-bean coffee. Have water, a kettle and a sturdy mug that fits the brewer ready at home. Move the mug and brewer off the scale onto a stable counter before pressing.
